Student has difficulty locating facts in an article.
Identifies details
Student recalls several details for each main point, without referring to the article.
Student recalls several details for each main point, but needs to refer to the article, occasionally.
Student is able to locate most of the details when looking at the article.
Student cannot locate details with accuracy.
Peer collaboration
Student works cooperatively with peers throughout the entire lesson. It is clear both the student and his/her partner collaborated to complete the assignment.
Student works cooperatively with peers for the majority of the lesson. Minor disagreements were able to be solved mostly on their own.
Student works cooperatively with peers for only some of the lesson. There are a few disagreements that were able to be solved with teacher assistance.
Student does not work cooperatively with peers during this lesson. Student had to be asked to finish the assignment on his/her own.
