The rules were not written.
Mechanics
The game utilizes a variety of mechanics in a creative way. It allows for decisions to be made every turn that have an effect on the winning of the game.
The game utilizes a variety of mechanics, not necessarily in a creative way. It allows for decisions to be made every turn that have an effect on the winning of the game.

The group worked fairly well together with all members contributing some work.

Varying Strategies
There are multiple ways to achieve the win condition (or conditions). A clear winner is not determined until the last small bit of the game. There is a way to prevent a run-away leader.
There are multiple ways to achieve the win condition but the winner can be clearly seen at the mid-point of the game. There is a way to prevent a runaway leader but it is ineffective.
There is only one way to achieve the win condition (formulaic) or the winner can be determined before the midpoint of the game. There is no way to catch up to a leader.
The win condition isn't communicated well or there is only a single viable strategy or the winner is determined via luck rather than decisions.
